SKYFLD is designed to help you make the best use of your resources by bringing a new level of precision into your farming operations. Using base maps, you can create 3 types of application maps:
To access application maps, open field details view. Scroll down to the Maps section. Use the panel with icons to switch between the map types. If you hover over the icon, you will see the map type name. Below the panel, you will see the application maps you created.
Seeding maps
You can create seeding maps based on up to 10 different maps. You can select only biomass, soil, or yield maps or use a combination of those three types.
Additionally, you decide how many seeding zones your map should have. Each zone will have a different quantity of seeds applied to it, depending on the biomass vitality of that area. The last step of creating a seeding map is defining the crop type and variety, choosing machinery, and adjusting parameters. You will see in the preview how the map changes based on your equipment’s specifications.

Fertilisation maps
You can create fertilisation maps based on up to 10 biomass or soil maps. You also define the number of zones and choose the fertiliser type - organic, manufactured, or you can add your own. The fertilisers that you will see on the list depend on the region of your farm.
You have to select the base of your fertiliser as the total amount of it will be calculated based on the concentration of a chosen nutrient: nitrogen (N), phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5), or potassium oxide (K2O). Next, pick your fertilisation strategy. You can choose between assimilation and differentiation. Choose assimilation if you want to apply more fertiliser to those areas of your field where the biomass vitality is lower. If you wish to apply more fertiliser to the high productivity zones, choose differentiation.
In the last step, you choose machinery, and you can set the N-Balance - an optional nitrogen limit. You can see the changes on the map preview throughout the whole process of map creation.

Plant Growth Regulator maps
With SKYFLD® you can create precise PGR maps to ensure that each zone of your field receives the optimum application rate of plant growth regulators. You can select and combine up to ten base maps in total: biomass, soil, and yield maps. You can also use only one type of map, however, combining them gives the best results. Similar to seeding and fertilisation maps, you define the zoning, and optionally prioritize base maps; all of the changes are visible on the preview.
You can add up to three different PGR products, which can be either liquid or solid. SKYFLD® enables tank-mixing procedures that can enhance the activity of products and reduce the cost of application. The application rates for your second and third products are defined by entering an average rate, then the system uses the ratio from Product 1 to calculate the rest.
At the last step of PGR map creation, select machinery and adjust the amount of product you will use in each zone of your field. You can review the amounts, leave them as calculated based on chosen maps, or regulate the amounts manually.
