You have to be a Farm owner or a user with Full Access to set up a connection with your John Deere cloud account. It is possible to add several terminals from the same provider.
Remember: to set the connection, you need an active account with added devices on your machinery provider’s cloud. Some providers require a subscription. |

4. A new tab opens in your browser. Do not close it! The tab is a bridge between SKYFLD and John Deere’s cloud account and is a necessary part of a successful connection.
5. At the same time, John Deere sign-in page opens. (If you don't see this page, go to the previous tab and ensure your browser doesn't block pop-ups and new windows.)
Enter credentials and log in to your cloud account.
6. After you log in, the pop-up appears in your John Deere account.
- If you set up the connection for the first time, you have to select the organization (choose the one with the terminals you want to integrate) and click Save.
- If you have already established the connection for another SKYFLD farm with your John Deere cloud account, the organisation name will be selected in the pop-up. Click Cancel to continue.
7. You can close the Manage Connections tab and go back to SKYFLD.
8. In SKYFLD, click Check the connection status.
If the connection setup succeeds, the machinery list pop-up opens. If the pop-up doesn’t appear, please wait several minutes and click the button again. Sometimes, the provider needs more time to establish the connection.
9. In the left column, you see all devices and machinery you have added to your John Deere account. (Remember that you see the custom names you gave to each device on your John Deere account.) After you click the cell in the right column, you will see all machinery types supported by SKYFLD. From the right column, select the device types matching the terminals from the left column.
10. Once you match the devices, click Save.
SKYFLD automatically creates new terminals in the Machinery module. Devices connected to John Deere’s cloud are marked with the cloud icon. In the Machinery module, you can edit the terminal’s name. You can also select these terminals while exporting application maps.
11. After the successful connection, you will see its status in the Integrations tab.
